From the above date all handicaps increased by 3 to a max of 36

Scoring - Effective 5th January, the maximum handicap is increased to 36.

From the same date, all handicaps are increased by 4 to a maximum of 36.

Also, from the same date, a 'Codger Society' rule is introduced, whereby in the event of a ball not found on the fairway or rough, a new ball can be dropped on the faiway at a spot near to where the ball became lost (in agreement with playing partners), at a penalty of 2 shots (Stroke and distance).

Weekly Subs - From the above date, it is agreed that subs are increased from £1 to £2. 

Partly due to the effect of COVID-19, weekly attendance is significantly down, meaning that kitty funds are not currently plenished sufficiently, to ensure a reasonable contribution to our EOY Xmas lunch fund!

Also, from the above date, it is agreed that a cash prize can be given, equivalent to the current wine purchase price, as an alternative to actual wine.

Scoring - Effective 6th January, all handicaps are increased by 3 to a maximum of current handicap index and or, to a maximum of 28.

Also effective 6th January, the organiser each week is pre-set to a future date. In the event of holiday's or sickness etc., the set organiser must arrange to swap with another player and inform all members accordingly.

Scoring - With immediate effect anyone not completing their round will be penalised by 1 shot ie their h/c will be reduced by 1, unless the termination of the round is for compassionate reason. The days contribution to our kitty fund will be oweing, unless already paid.

Scoring: Following recent general discussion, concerning play handicaps, in the interest of fair competition, an amendment to the formula for scoring has been introduced with immediate effect. Apart from the winners and losers of a particular game, any player who achieves a score above 30, his handicap will be reduced by one shot. Any player scoring less then 20, his handicap will be increased by one shot.
